What is WOGOAL?
WOGOAL is a cloud-native football analysis platform that collects, analyses and converts odds and match data from API-Football into concrete signals. No gut feeling – only historically proven patterns.
How does WOGOAL work?
Every day, fixtures are discovered and odds are collected every 5 minutes. After matches end, signals are automatically evaluated. Results are transparently visible in the Odds Dropper 1 and Odds Dropper 2 Trackers.
Why are matches without odds ignored?
Without odds there is no movement – and without movement there is no signal. Odds are the core data signal. Matches without market data are completely excluded from all calculations.
How is ROI calculated?
ROI = (Total profit ÷ Total stake) × 100. With 100 units staked and 118 units returned, the ROI is +18%. All calculations are based on 1-unit stakes per signal.
How are Odds Dropper signals generated?
When the home win odds drop significantly between opening and current, it signals unusual betting activity. Depending on the magnitude, a signal is categorised as WAIT, ATTENTION or BET.
How does the Brentford Scanner work?
A statistical goals model (Dixon-Coles) -- the same academic approach behind Matthew Benham's Smartodds -- estimates each team's own attack and defence strength from its actual goals scored/conceded. The resulting fair Asian Handicap price is compared against Pinnacle's own de-vigged price -- a positive edge signals value.
